• MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND •

• MILES FROM TOMORROWLAND •

I'm very pleased and proud to have worked on a few exciting toy spin-offs from this super new space character series.
Space adventurer Miles Callisto is always ready for action, traveling through the universe with his family and his best friend, a robo-ostrich named Merc. The family includes mom Phoebe, the ship's captain who sets a good example and encourages her family on every mission; dad Leo, a laid-back pilot and inventor who isn't afraid to try new things; and big sister Loretta, who is a brilliant computer coder and always has her brother's back. Together, they use teamwork and problem solving as they encounter obstacles while completing missions throughout outer space for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The Callistos' home base is a floating space station called the Stellosphere, and the StarJetter is the vehicle they use to go to other planets and galaxies. Each episode features a fact related to space or science that inspires the storyline.
Here's the first product - finally out in time for christmas.

• PET SHOP MAGNETIC SET •

• PET SHOP MAGNETIC SET •
I've been a bit remiss in posting new work here of late, partly due to a couple of long winded projects and partly due to having most of August off!
However, I can post these three details from one of those projects - a new Imaginetics set for Interplay. This was another fun filled and busy scene where children can play and stock a pet shop with all their favourite pets. Parrots, puppies, kittens, hamsters, bunnies, frogs and more.

• HAPPY EASTERMASS •

• HAPPY EASTERMASS •
So whilst everyone was getting ready to celebrate Easter, I had been finishing off a couple more Imaginetic magnetic sticker sets for Interplay.
It doesn't phase me any longer, working out of tune with the calendar. As an illustrator you get used to producing Christmas images almost any time of the year depending on campaign, print and buying schedules.
These are both cropped details of the full image as this set, and the second one featuring a snow people's winter sports day, will not be released for quite a few months.
It would be good to go on to produce a Christmas App from all this artwork, time allowing.
Please fell free to enlarge the images by clicking on them but remember they are all very strictly copyright. ©

 • CONSTRUCTION TRUCK CHARACTER SET
• CONSTRUCTION TRUCK CHARACTER SET
Another wonderful job for the Imaginetics playsets for Interplay. A folding diorama scene is the background illustration and these magnetic trucks can be assembled and moved around all day.
Also shown is one of the many reference shots I took, set in a mini construction site area built from sand and rocks. Thanks to Archie for lending me the diggers.
I'm hoping I can get some more mileage from these sturdy little characters in a construction story app that I'm working on.
Colin the Constructor? Can he rectify the situation, you bet your monkey wrench he can!

•WALLY ON HIS TRAVELS!
As mentioned below I have just completed around 50 Wally Woppapotamus pictures for his first book. Just about all these were in pencil with one or two full colour 'specials'.
Wally is a great character to work with and I'm hoping he achieves the success he deserves for his creator, Helen Bonney.
Here he is seen being accidentally chosen as a christmas gift by a young girl in line to meet Father christmas.
Another reason for my absence from this blog for a week or two was the absence of my Mac from my desk! but more of that later (or earlier, since this blog lists chronologically)
Please feel free to supersize Wally with a double click but remember he is strictly copyright. ©
