• NICE CHEESE LABEL GROMIT

A cracking job commissioned by the great guys at Chilli Design.

The real creamery at Wensleydale, the only AUTHENTIC Wensleydale cheese factory, needed a facelift, with a new label illustration depicting all that was natural and typical of the Yorkshire Dales.

The styling was as important as all the key Dales countryside factors and it took shape over Christmas and into the first few weeks of this year.

Looks like the farmer changed his shirt just before the final artwork went to print.

Here you see from the sketch through the sheep and cow variants - to the finished shelf pack.

Kicked off this year by finishing off a very nice job for the guys at Chilli Design.

Don't think it would be fair to say what the exact product as yet as it will probably be rolled out during this year.

The crop shown here is about a third of the total illustration which was a slight departure in style for me in an attempt to try and capture a certain look and feel required by the client. It worked well and should be seen up and down the country on labels. POS and van livery.

So, if in a few months time you see these cows and sheep flying past you on the M1, remember you saw it here first folks.
